Breaking the Ice

The good part about studying in the US is that you get to dissect blogs like this and this as a part of rhetorical analysis in your English class. Unfortunately, that's the only good part.

Rithwick told me yesterday that he'd fucking cut off his dick to be on a plane back to Hyderabad.

Prateek was worried shit when the blasts happened in Delhi and I can still see the insecurity channeling his body language.

Ishaan wants to finish off his degree in two years and work overloads in summer. Just so that he can gang up with his crowd in Chennai.

Nitya's doesn't want to go back to Bombay because she's afraid she won't return.

Suprathik thinks next summer'll be as good as the one gone by.

One common thread of longing. One desperate hope that this place won't be too enticing.

I really hope I return.Soon.

Those blogs were terrible... bitch PhD, what crap!

Elections in India next year, maybe another government can do something about security. Sadly, I won't be able to vote. But if I could, I'd vote for the BJP. Saying that aloud to my friends would lead to several outbursts against me, but I don't care. I wanna stay alive, and the UPA can't do much for me.

Home is where the heart is. Cliched as in sounds, its true and if you're really as attached to Hyderabad as you claim to be, you'll make it back.
